The vibe
What CDLC Barcelona feels like.
CDLC (Carpe Diem Lounge Club) is one of the most iconic beachfront venues in Barcelona — a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge club right on the Passeig Marítim, just steps from the W Hotel and Port Olímpic. By day and early evening it runs as a high-end restaurant under Asian-Mediterranean influence; after dinner the room shifts into a lounge club with resident DJs, a glamorous crowd and bottle service on the famous opium-bed terrace overlooking the sea.
CDLC is the official Dom Pérignon ambassador in Barcelona and one of the most consistently booked premium nights on the beachfront — international guest list, footballers, tourists from the Hotel Arts and W, and a polished local crowd. It's a smaller, more curated room than the Opium / Pacha mega-clubs next door — closer to a lounge with a dance floor than a full nightclub.
What to expect
The night, end to end.
Most groups arrive between 22:00 and midnight, either for late dinner with the night turning into the party or just for the lounge club after eating elsewhere. The room is built around the central bar with the iconic opium-bed terrace facing the sea — perfect for a relaxed start with bottles before the DJ takes over around midnight. Music is open format and accessible: house, commercial, R&B and Latin hits, played by resident DJs who read the crowd rather than pushing a single genre.
The dress code is enforced at the door — smart elegant beachfront, no sportswear or flip-flops even in summer. Bottle service starts around €600 and runs up significantly for the prime terrace tables and the larger groups. It closes at 03:00, so if you want to keep going Opium, Shôko and Pacha are a 2-minute walk down the same beachfront strip.
