The vibe

What CDLC Barcelona feels like.

CDLC (Carpe Diem Lounge Club) is one of the most iconic beachfront venues in Barcelona — a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge club right on the Passeig Marítim, just steps from the W Hotel and Port Olímpic. By day and early evening it runs as a high-end restaurant under Asian-Mediterranean influence; after dinner the room shifts into a lounge club with resident DJs, a glamorous crowd and bottle service on the famous opium-bed terrace overlooking the sea.

CDLC is the official Dom Pérignon ambassador in Barcelona and one of the most consistently booked premium nights on the beachfront — international guest list, footballers, tourists from the Hotel Arts and W, and a polished local crowd. It's a smaller, more curated room than the Opium / Pacha mega-clubs next door — closer to a lounge with a dance floor than a full nightclub.

What to expect

The night, end to end.

Most groups arrive between 22:00 and midnight, either for late dinner with the night turning into the party or just for the lounge club after eating elsewhere. The room is built around the central bar with the iconic opium-bed terrace facing the sea — perfect for a relaxed start with bottles before the DJ takes over around midnight. Music is open format and accessible: house, commercial, R&B and Latin hits, played by resident DJs who read the crowd rather than pushing a single genre.

The dress code is enforced at the door — smart elegant beachfront, no sportswear or flip-flops even in summer. Bottle service starts around €600 and runs up significantly for the prime terrace tables and the larger groups. It closes at 03:00, so if you want to keep going Opium, Shôko and Pacha are a 2-minute walk down the same beachfront strip.

CDLC Barcelona — FAQ

Is the CDLC Barcelona guest list free?
Yes — our guest list gets you free entry before midnight on a typical Wed–Sun night. After 00:00 a door price applies (usually €20–€30 depending on the night). Reserve your spot online through the booking link at the top of the page.
Where is CDLC Barcelona?
Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 32 — on the beachfront, between the W Hotel and Port Olímpic. Two minutes' walk from Opium, Shôko and Pacha (now Ku Barcelona).
What music does CDLC play?
Open format — house, commercial, R&B and Latin hits programmed for a mixed international and local crowd. CDLC is a lounge club, not an underground electronic venue — the DJs read the room rather than pushing a single genre.
What's the dress code at CDLC?
Smart elegant beachfront chic. No sportswear, flip-flops or caps — the door team enforces it even in peak summer. Think summer dress, smart shorts or trousers, polished sneakers or leather shoes.
Can I have dinner at CDLC and then stay for the club?
Yes — and it's the best way to do CDLC. Book the restaurant for 21:00–22:00, eat through to midnight as the DJ starts, and your dining table becomes the lounge spot for the night. For dinner + club packages, see the VIP Tables page.
How much is a CDLC VIP table?
Bottle service starts from around €600 minimum spend for groups of 4–8, with prime terrace positions and larger group packages running significantly higher. CDLC is the official Dom Pérignon ambassador, so the champagne list is one of the strongest on the beachfront.
What time does CDLC close?
03:00. For a longer night, Opium, Shôko and Pacha (Ku Barcelona) are a 2-minute walk down the same beachfront — book a guest list spot at any of them directly from their PartyKazu pages.
What's the minimum age?
18+. A valid ID (passport, DNI or NIE) is required at the door — no exceptions.
How do I get to CDLC from the city centre?
A 10-minute taxi from Plaça Catalunya or a 15-minute walk from Barceloneta metro (L4). The closest taxi rank at end of the night is the W Hotel forecourt, two minutes away.
