The vibe

What Ku Barcelona feels like.

Ku Barcelona is the rebrand of the legendary Pacha Barcelona — same iconic Barceloneta beachfront venue, same prime location next door to Opium and Shoko, but reborn under a new name in September 2025 after Pacha's 11-year residency ended. Inside it's spacious by Barcelona standards, with a main room oriented toward house and electronic music and a more commercial second area.

International DJs rotate weekly. Crowd is mixed locals and international, slightly more upmarket than its beachfront neighbors.

What to expect

The night, end to end.

Ku Barcelona gets going around 01:30 and peaks 03:00–05:00. With the guest list, arrive before 01:00 Monday to Thursday and Sunday, or before 00:30 on Friday and Saturday, and you walk in free instead of paying the €25–30 cover. The main room is a proper electronic/house space — not a tourist-trap commercial club — with international DJs and good sound.

The second room is more accessible (commercial, reggaeton). Outdoor terrace overlooks the Mediterranean. VIP tables are spread across both rooms and the terrace, with the beachfront-view tables being the most coveted.

Ku Barcelona — FAQ

Is Ku Barcelona the same as Pacha Barcelona?
Same venue, new name. Pacha's 11-year residency at Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta 38 ended in September 2025, and the club was rebranded as Ku Barcelona. Same location, same beachfront, same dance floors — new branding.
Is the Ku Barcelona guest list free?
Every night starts free. Monday to Thursday and Sunday the list is free until 01:00, then 10€ sin copa until 01:30 and 15€ until 02:00. Friday and Saturday it's free until 00:30, then 10€ sin copa until 01:00, 15€ until 01:30 and 20€ until 02:00. Monday and Thursday also include skip-the-line. Saturday daytime (Paripe) is free until 18:00.
What music does Ku Barcelona play?
Main room: house and electronic with international DJ residencies (continuing the Pacha-era sound legacy). Second room: commercial, reggaeton, Latin and Top 40. Terrace varies by night.
What's the dress code at Ku Barcelona?
Smart casual to smart elegant. Clean stylish sneakers are accepted. Beach shorts, flip-flops, football jerseys and tank tops are refused.
How much is a Ku Barcelona VIP table?
From Friday to Sunday, tables start at €500 on the terrace and €600 interior, each for up to 5 people with bottle service. Monday to Thursday it's €400 terrace and €500 interior. Champagne packages from €700. Group bookings 8–14 typically €1000–1800.
Where is Ku Barcelona located?
Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta 38, on the beachfront — the same address as the former Pacha Barcelona. 5 minutes walking from Barceloneta metro (L4 yellow line). Taxi from city center: ~10 minutes.
When is Ku Barcelona open?
Open every night, from around 23:00–23:55 (Sunday opens earliest, at 23:00). Closes 05:00 Mon–Thu and around 05:45 Fri–Sun. Saturday also has a daytime session (Paripe) from 17:00 to 23:00.
How much is a drink at Ku Barcelona?
Long drinks around €14–16. Beer €8. Shots €8. Champagne by the glass from €15.
Can I book a table for a birthday?
Yes — VIP tables for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties are common. Cake service can be added on request.
How early should I arrive?
Aim to be at the door before 01:00 Monday to Thursday and Sunday, and before 00:30 on Friday and Saturday. Those are the free cut-offs. Ku only fills after 01:30 and the main dance floor peaks 03:00–05:00, so arriving early costs you nothing but the wait at the bar.

Old Pacha vibes, new energy

Knew it as Pacha for years, was curious about the rebrand to Ku — same iconic venue, same massive Saturday energy. PartyKazu sorted the guest list in one message and even confirmed dress code beforehand. Worth it.

Para Saturday Ku es una garantía. Conseguimos la free guest list por WhatsApp en 5 minutos. La música del main room muy comercial pero la sala de arriba salvó la noche. Buen servicio en general.

Bachelor party hub

Came for my buddy's bachelor — 12 of us, Kazu put us on the guest list and bumped 6 of us to a small table with bottle service when we asked last minute. Service was 10/10, would book again for any group trip.
